MELA HUDSON
PRODUCER
Mela is the founder and owner of For Our Own Entertainment. She has been in the industry since 2009 and has made a name for herself as both an actress, and filmmaker. She is best known in front of the camera for her role as Emma in the short indie drama, Split Costs. To date the film has been the official selection to over 28 film festivals and has received 15 awards.
Mela won the People's Choice Award at the 2012 Coleman Awards, Best Supporting Broad at the 2015 Broad Humor Film Festival, Best Actress at the 2016 Women's Only Entertainment Film Festival, an Award of Merit for Leading Actress at the 2016 Best Shorts Competition, and shared Best Ensemble Performance at the 2017 Stories by The River Film Festival. She has also been nominated for a Shorty Award in 2015, Best Actress in a Short Film at the 2016 Hudson Valley International Film Festival, Best Actress at the 2016 North American Awards, and a Sofie Award for Best Actress in a Short Film at the 2016 Short Film Awards.
ADAM L. COHEN
PRODUCER
Adam is a producer, and director of photographer who works closely with the Director and other department heads to create a cohesive visual style. He is underwater certified, as well as an aerial drone operator. Adam also has experience with 35mm & 16mm, as well as, cinema HD cameras and lighting.

Adam has worked all over the United States, creating beautiful works of art both commercially, and theatrically.

His feature film credits include The Rumperbutts, Sea Horse, and Summer Song. His short film credit include Eden from Ashes, Duet for Four, Firefly, Family Pieces, and Midnight Matinee.

Adam and Mela met in 2014 and immediately became friends sharing the same passion of storytelling, and quality of work they wanted to produce.
